The picnic area is available for overnight guests and for day visitors who have purchased a day pass.
Can I bring my own BBQ grill to the park?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own grill, but we ask that you only use it in the designated BBQ area and ensure it is kept a safe distance from other structures and vegetation.
Are there community grills available for use?
Yes, we have several large, community-style charcoal grills available for all guests to use on a first-come, first-served basis.
Are there picnic tables and seating available?
Yes, the riverfront picnic area is equipped with numerous picnic tables and benches.
Is there a cost to use the picnic area if I am a guest?
No, use of the picnic area and grills is complimentary for all registered overnight guests.
Can I reserve a specific picnic table for my group?
We do not take reservations for specific picnic tables; they are all available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is the picnic area close to the river?
Yes, the entire area is located on the riverfront, offering scenic views and easy access for fishing or a walk along the water.
