All trails accessible to camp guests at no charge. We welcome other hikers with our day pass access: $5 (Sept – May), $10 (June – Aug).

Are the walking trails suitable for beginners and families?
Yes, our walking trails are designed to be easy and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. The paths are well-maintained and mostly flat.
Are the walking trails pet-friendly?
Yes, our walking trails are pet-friendly. We require that all pets remain on a leash at all times for their safety and the safety of other guests.
Do the trails lead to the Leon River?
Yes, our scenic trails meander through the park’s natural landscape and lead directly to the Leon River, where you can enjoy views of the water.
How long are the walking trails?
We have a network of trails of varying lengths. The main loop is a comfortable and easy walk that takes about 30 minutes to complete.
Are the walking trails shaded?
Our trails are partially shaded by trees, providing some relief from the sun, especially during the warmer months.
Can I ride my bike on the walking trails?
Our paths are intended for walking and hiking only. For safety, we do not allow bicycles on the walking trails.
Are there any specific hazards on the trails I should be aware of?
The trails are generally very safe. We recommend staying on the marked paths and being aware of natural elements like tree roots and uneven terrain.
