Planning Your Wine Tour

When planning your tour of local wineries, consider these tips:

  1. Designate a driver or arrange for transportation if you plan to enjoy multiple tastings.
  2. Check operating hours before visiting, as most establishments have limited days and hours.
  3. Look for food options – some venues offer light bites, while others may have food trucks or nearby dining options.
  4. Ask about tastings – many places offer flight options to sample multiple varieties.
  5. Take your time – the joy of wine tasting is in the experience, so don’t rush between locations.

Beyond the Tasting

While the wineries are destinations in themselves, the journey between them offers scenic views of the Texas countryside. As you travel through the rolling landscapes of Eastland, Cisco, and Abilene, you’ll experience the varied terrain that contributes to the character of our regional wines and the charm of our communities.

After your day of exploration, you’ll appreciate returning to the comfort of Inez Spring RV Park, where you can relax by the Leon River, take a dip in the spring-fed pool, or simply unwind under the stars with a bottle of your new favorite Texas wine.
