Just a short drive from Eastland, the Texas Steak Cookoff and Wine Festival in Hico offers the perfect pre-Memorial Day event. Inez Spring proudly hosts graduation parties, offering special packages for families celebrating this important milestone. The pool and recreational areas provide the perfect backdrop for these celebrations, with special photo opportunities around the property. Our staff works closely with families to create memorable celebrations, whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large party. Book your graduation party early, as these popular dates fill quickly!
To celebrate our 2025 Eastland county graduates, we are also hosting our first “Graduates Swim Free” day on May 28th. Graduates just have to show a photo of themselves in their cap and gown for entry.

June Themed Events
Throughout summer, Inez Springs will transform the pool area with exciting themed events that go beyond just swimming. These themed weekends also include a themed movie on the lawn that starts as soon as the sun goes down. Arrive early to claim a spot with blankets and lawn chairs. Popcorn, refreshments and candy for sale. The June line-up of pool parties and movies include:
- Father’s Day Superhero Splash, June 14-15

June marks the perfect time to explore the Leon River by kayak. Our launch pad offers easy access onto the river by kayak and the gentle current makes it ideal for beginners, while more experienced paddlers can venture further to discover hidden fishing spots and wildlife viewing areas.

Peak Summer Fun
July in Eastland County brings summer to its glorious peak. The heat of the day makes every splash in the Inez Spring pool feel like sweet relief, while evenings offer perfect temperatures for outdoor gatherings. This month embodies everything we love about Texas summers – brilliant sunshine, star-filled skies, and the steady rhythm of cicadas providing nature’s soundtrack to long summer days.
All-American 4th of July
July 4 - 6
Independence Day in Eastland County is a quintessential all-American experience. Start your day with a pool-side picnic and BBQ celebration that includes patriotic pool decor, games, and more. Pool opens at 11am for your pre-firework pool party, and picnic.
As twilight approaches, head down to the lake for a patriotic boat parade and firework show. Boat show starts at the Leon Dam at 7 p.m. and boats make their way around the lake as dusk approaches. Following the boat parade, enjoy the La Mancha Lake Ranch’s Annual Fireworks Show right at dark! This massive fireworks show can be seen from all over the lake!

July Themed Events
Pool themed weekends and movie nights continue in July, starting with the Fourth of July Red, White and Pool Party. Here is our full lineup:
- Red, White and Pool Party! July 4-6 — Add pool and picnic time to your 4th of July weekend – we’ll have food, fun, games, and festive decor to celebrate this all-American day! Plus, enjoy movie night on Saturday, July 5th at dusk. We’ll be showing “Night at the Museum.”
— Learn more. - Shark Week(end) July 12-13 — Dive into adventure with our Shark Week(end) celebration! Enjoy shark-themed pool games, a “find the shark fin” treasure hunt and ride the slippery shark contest. Enjoy movie night on the lawn, Saturday July 12th at dusk. We’ll be showing “Finding Nemo.”
- Splash Back to the 90’s July 24-25 — Sport your throwback swim gear for awesome prizes, enjoy neon pool floats, and 90’s tunes. We combine this themed weekend with a Saturday movie night – we’ll be showing Sandlot!
National Ice Cream Day
July 16
Cool down on National Ice Cream Day with a special midweek treat at Inez Spring! We will be handing out free ice cream bars at the pool while supplies last. The highlight of the day is the “Ice Cream Challenge” where participants sample mystery flavors for prizes. Evening hours will feature a “Build-Your-Own Sundae Bar” for RV Park guests.
International Hot Dog Day
July 19
Inez Spring Riverfront RV Park will celebrate International Hot Dog Day at the community fire pit starting at 6 p.m. RV park guests can roast their own hot dogs over the fire, buns and condiments will be provided. Come hungry and ready to celebrate this beloved summer staple in style!

Summer's Grande Finale
August’s warm temperatures make Inez Spring particularly inviting. Soak up the last month of summer in style with a line up of fun activities at Inez Spring.
National Campfire Day
Aug. 2
Celebrate National Campfire Day at Inez Spring with a special evening of community bonding around the fire. The event begins at 7 p.m. with a demonstration of traditional campfire building techniques and fire safety tips from local scouts and fire department representatives.
As darkness falls, the community fire pit area will expand for this special occasion, with multiple smaller fire circles allowing families to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. Bring your own camp chairs and blankets for this magical evening under the stars that celebrates one of summer’s most cherished traditions.
August Themed Weekends
August pool themed weekends and movie nights continue staring with a pirate themed weekend and ending with our summer finale – Grill and Chill Labor Day Weekend.
Pirate Pool Party August 15-16 — Ahoy, mateys! Sail into our pirate-themed weekend with treasure maps leading to hidden pool toys, water cannon battles, and a “walk the plank” diving contest. For our Saturday night movie, we’ll be showing The Goonies!
Labor Day Grill and Chill Pool Party Aug. 29 – Sept. 1 — The Labor Day grill and chill picnic and pool party at Inez Spring offers one last chance to soak up summer fun before fall arrives. The weekend features an end-of-summer pool party with games, prizes, and local food vendors. Plus a grilling contest! For our Saturday night movie, we’ll be showing Daddy Daycare!
