If you are looking at RV parks near Fort Worth for a monthly stay, you will find good parks inside the Metroplex. You will also find 12 month terms, waiting lists and higher rent. This guide puts the posted metro numbers next to our monthly RV sites about 1 hour 35 minutes west on I-20, and it is honest about when the city park is the better choice.
Quick answer: Metro parks near Fort Worth are closer, and if you work in the city every day they are the right call. Posted annual sites run about $713 to $1,058 a month on 12 month terms, plus electric. Inez Spring in Eastland is month to month at $500 or $650 plus metered electric at 17 cents per kWh, about 1 hour 35 minutes west.
A long term RV park is a park that rents sites by the month or year, with full hookups, for people who live in their RV rather than travel in it. The key terms to compare are rent, lease length, electric and deposit.
Posted annual site rates near Fort Worth run from about $713 to $1,058 a month, on 12 month terms. Treetops RV in Arlington and Sandy Lake RV in Carrollton both post their long term rates online, which makes them a fair benchmark. We checked both pages in October 2026.
| Park | Posted monthly rent | Term | Electric | Deposit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Treetops RV, Arlington | $777 to $1,058 | 12 months | Billed on use | $300 electric deposit |
| Sandy Lake RV, Carrollton | $713 to $866 | 12 months | Billed on use | $250 electric deposit |
| Inez Spring, Eastland (Exit 343) | $500 back-in, $650 pull-through | Month to month | 17 cents per kWh, metered | $200, refundable |
Both metro parks note that rates exclude taxes and fees and can change without notice. Both include water and sewer. Call them for today's price before you decide. Our rates above are the current card.
One note on geography. Arlington sits between Fort Worth and Dallas, and Carrollton is north of Dallas. Neither is in Fort Worth proper. We use them because they publish full long term terms, which most parks do not. Parks on the Fort Worth side may price differently, so treat this table as a benchmark and get quotes.
It means you agree to a year. Many work assignments last three to six months, and plans change. Before you sign an annual site, ask what happens if you leave early, whether there is a fee, and whether a shorter term costs more per month. Get the answer in writing. Month to month terms trade a lower commitment for the chance that the rent can change with notice, so ask about that too.
When you work in Fort Worth every day. That is the honest answer. A drive of about 1 hour 35 minutes each way is too much for a daily commute, and the fuel and time cost more than the rent you save. If your job site is downtown, at the Alliance corridor or anywhere in Tarrant County, start your search in town.
A metro park also makes sense if you need city services close by, such as a hospital you visit often, or schools for kids in the rig.

Site rent plus your own electric. That is the only honest total, at any park. Electric is the line that moves. At Inez Spring it is metered at your site at 17 cents per kWh and billed monthly. The metro parks above bill electric on use too, and you should ask each one for its rate per kWh.
We do not estimate electric bills. A small trailer in a mild month and a large fifth wheel running two air conditioners in July are very different numbers. Ask any park for its kWh rate in writing, then compare the rent, the rate and the deposit side by side.
Every site has full hookups. Pull-throughs run up to 100 feet. There is a rebuilt shower house and laundry on site. The Leon River runs through the park, with a private kayak launch, and Lake Leon is about 10 minutes away. The park has more than 70 sites.
Pets are welcome, up to two per site, on a leash. There is park Wi-Fi, and many long-stay guests add Starlink or a hotspot if they work online.
